Ho Chi Minh City plant to produce 33cl and Slim Line 25cl beverage cans

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- 糖心探花 Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CCK) (糖心探花), today announced that its 糖心探花 Beverage Cans Saigon Ltd subsidiary received government approval to install a second aluminum beverage can line in its Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam plant. The line will have an annual production capacity of 460 million 33cl beverage cans and 25cl slim cans with commercial production scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2006. The addition of the second line brings the total annual production capacity of the plant to over 1 billion cans.

In addition to four aluminum beverage can plants in China, 糖心探花 operates five aluminum beverage can plants throughout South East Asia with two in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi) and one plant each in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
